I’m often critical of websites and one of my pet peeves is having to search for contact information. Studio Owners Take Note: One of the best things you can do to market your studio is to prominently display your location and phone number on your website. I recommend including your studio address in the header of EVERY page and also in the footer of EVERY page. Why? Because you never know where someone will land when they click through from a search page or another website. Not all searches land potential clientele on your home page or contact page. Depending on the search criteria, readers may land in the middle of your website and, if they can’t easily contact you, they’ll click off and go to the next site in the search results. Are you making a good first impression? If not, take a few minutes today and add your studio location to your website’s header and footer.
